Rachael was super knowledgeable and always quick to respond! She helped us every step of the way through our purchase and sale of our home. We are not the easiest clients, and she was attentive and helpful through it all. Highly recommend her services!

Rachael first and foremost is passionate about real estate and helping those involved (clients and not). She genuinely cares about each transaction and the people involved. Rachael helped me buy a place and sell a place in Big Bear Lake, CA. Her expertise in real estate transactions, keeping tabs on the deal, and consistent/clear communication is on par with the best of them. Rachael stays consistent the whole way through even when difficult items pop up that may need to be navigated. I will definitely use Rachael again for my real estate needs when it comes to buying and selling property. She is super personable too, which makes the business relationship even easier.

We highly recommend Rachael! She is easy to work with, very responsive, and fun to house shop with. Her knowledge of the Big Bear market and of short-term rentals helped us find a wonderful vacation home. Our offer and purchase prices were well under the asking price, in a seller’s market, and Rachael’s guidance and support were highly appreciated as we negotiated with the seller. Our escrow process was smooth and organized, which was especially great since we live hours from Big Bear. We will definitely be asking Rachael for her help on our future Big Bear real estate needs.

Rachael was fantastic to work with when purchasing our new home in Big Bear. She was professional, knowledgeable, detail oriented, and a solid communicator. She understands the area and the market extremely well. She handled a lot of the coordination and even offered to do a final walk-through when we were not available to do so. She was always quick to respond to my many emails, text messages, and phone calls. I would certainly recommend Rachael to anyone buying or selling property in Big Bear.

Working with Rachael Smith was wonderful. We had two rentals in Big Bear that we have wanted to sell for years but have hesitated because of our long-term tenants. I had a great conversation with Rachael a couple of years ago, but we decided to wait on selling. With the market in Big Bear so hot, we decided to call Rachael again because we had such a good feeling about her the first time we talked. When she said we could market the rentals with an agreement to allow our tenants to stay, we decided now was the time to get them sold. She suggested reasonable asking prices to start with, and when we called our tenants, both of them actually wanted to buy the places themselves. Rachael worked very well with both sides. Rachael had great advice all the way through the process. She worked with the tenants and facilitated everything beautifully. On our end, we were able to do everything online, which was great because we live down the hill. She updated us frequently and kept us informed of all timelines, and in less than two months from our first call to Rachael, escrow had closed on both places. We never dreamed everything would go so smoothly, and we know this happened because of Rachael’s knowledge and expertise as a realtor. In addition, she is just a great person! Whenever we had questions whether by email or phone, she got back to us immediately, and it was always such a pleasure talking with her on the phone. I felt like we were working with a friend, even though we’ve never actually met in person. (We hope to meet her on our next trip up to Big Bear.) We highly recommend Rachael to anyone looking for a great realtor in the Big Bear area.
