Pamela did an exceptional job assisting us in the purchase of our home. We were deployed overseas and couldn't view the houses, so Pamela visited every house, conducted video tours, and let us know what we liked and what we didn't. We told her exactly what we wanted, and within minutes of arriving at a listing, she knew if we would love it or hate it. She worked around our schedule, being 10 hours behind us, and she didn't let that stop her from making calls very early in the morning or late at night. She responded to texts, phone calls, and emails promptly.

Buying a home on Whidbey Island feels impossible and we were nearly on the verge of quitting because it felt hopeless. However, just as we were about to give up, poof, an angel appeared!!! Pamela Hill is an absolutely amazing realtor!!! Pamela’s knowledge of the island is unmatched. Location is everything, and upon hearing an address, Pamela instantly provides information on the area, including infrastructure, safety, schools, cultural attractions, health care facilities, affordability, sense of security, and most importantly, sound levels and sense of peace. Our experience, nowadays, is that most realtors expect the buyer to do all the work searching for and finding a home. In essence, their idea of working for a buyer is to act as a human key. I love Pamela’s active method. She actually spends time talking with her clients, gathering detailed information and understanding the clients desires. Then, Pamela performs an extensive search with her client. After a quick review of each listing, Pamela provides feedback on location, setting, pitfalls, positives, etc. Pamela provides details you will not find in a listing search. The advantage? You don’t have to travel all over the island and waste your time looking at properties that don’t fit your needs. Pamela helps you filter out non-desirable homes and focus on the “diamonds hidden in the sand”. The search, however, is the easy part. Once you’ve found “the one,” Pamela has the skill and expertise to help you win the one you want. The market is extremely competitive. Typically, by the time you are able to view a desirable property, there are already several offers on the table. In our case, by the time we reached our showing, a day after the house went on the market, the seller already had 2 other offers. Did I mention the fact that Pamela dropped everything because she understood the urgency to schedule a showing immediately? Even tho we were met with this 3 buyer conundrum, Pamela advised exactly what we needed to provide in the offer to avoid a bidding war - and we won with 0 negotiation required, offering well within our desired budget!!! Pamela is simply, SUPERIOR!!! Offer successfully accepted, the hard part is over, right? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Navigating and negotiating the inspection process was the hardest and most important part of buying our home. Pamela has mastered the trifecta of real estate success: communication, knowledge, and negotiation. Pamela’s expert skill in negotiation is unmatched and her ability to communicate with strength and confidence makes her a powerful player in the quest for home buying success. Pamela’s network is extensive, and she has a deep understanding of the other players on Whidbey Island. Pamela’s intuitive and behavioral understanding of selling agents is an invaluable advantage and helps to alleviate much of the stress of buying. Finding and purchasing the perfect home on Whidbey Island is an overwhelmingly difficult task. Competition is stiff and location is everything.
