I was unable to find my review to respond back to the owner. 1. If the HOA was in the listing when I inquired and completed an application, why didn’t Dina say this when I expressed I didn’t think the requirements were transparent ?!!! Louisa! Says you record calls, please pull them! Please make them available for review to expose that I said to her I did not know about an HOA and her response of” is it a problem’ and that she knows it won’t be an issue to be approved. Not once did she say” Nikia, I’m sorry you did not see this, but it is in the listing! That would be too much like professionalism if it was actually there! Mohamed who is the only professional I spoke to, never said “ it was in the advertisement Nikia, I’ll be happy to show you. He agreed, Dina should have told me! Again if it was in the ad, neither person referenced it- only Louisa! 2. Beyond the knowledge of if I did or did not know about an HOA, what was the excuse for not providing everything the HOA said you were to, for me to review???? 3. I never said Dina didn’t say there was a fee for the lease- I said I had never heard of that before and that when the lease was presented to me, it said I still owed for it!!! Dina said it is like that for everyone! Well that’s a problem to have a person sign off saying they agree the owe a balance when they don’t! The lease draft should have reflected paid! 4. You all send a pre approval letter/emails giving the interested party 24 hrs to pay a deposit to even continue with a lease to review! It’s a trap! It took 2 days to get the lease to review! It was never available before hand! 5. It was an unreasonable lease! You said loss of potential inquiries, 2 days that you “had it off” before I requested my money back- really?! That equates to $1500? I’m a landlord, no, it doesn’t!!! 6. Again I ask the recorded calls I’m told you have be reviewed and made available! Louisa, did NOT try to support! She was rude, continued to speak over me! Made it clear upon the start of the conversation, “ if I see that they mention HOA in the pre approval notice, I am not refunding your money, I just want you to know that’ her words!!! She ultimately, hung up on me! This is professionalism and value of a customer? My issue was past the HOA!!!! It was the lease that said the owner had no liability if the property could not be turned over at the lease start date, that the tenant was responsible for copays for any repairs even if they are not negligent, that the landlord is not responsible for smoke detectors! This is unreasonable for me and as I’ve said before, I own 6 properties that I rent out! If my appliances breakdown or my air and heat do not work, I do not have my tenants pay any amount for someone to come out and make the repairs unless they cause the issue!!!! The right thing to do would be to prorate the $1495 this company pretty much took from me and did nothing and gave me nothing more than what I paid for! subtract the $100 for two days it was not made available to the public and refund me $1395! That is ethical. That is value for a customer and not just taking because you can! That is good business practice!!! The rental property was 4572 COMMANDER DRIVE Unit #1232, ORLANDO, Florida 32822. No lease was signed
