To all of you reading this review if you do not use The Treu Group including Lisa Treu, Steve Treu, and their team you are doing yourself a disservice. I will get into how great they are in a second but first, a little about me that might help you to relate. We are from a big city up north and I am moving my family to Florida to give the kids a better life in a better climate. Not knowing anything about living in Florida, we first had to pick where we would want to live. It was a tough decision but we chose Boca Raton because of the great schools, the cleanliness of the city and the low crime rate. Now that we selected a city we had to figure out who we could use as a realtor and that is the tricky part. I am sure if any of you are like me and have lived in a city their entire life – you know a bunch of realtors who are always fighting for your business. Moving to a new state and a new city, I didn’t have that luxury so I did what you are doing right now. I went online and read reviews. I am slightly untrusting of reviews at times because I know how easy it is to blast someone with good reviews or bad reviews so I look for reviews like the one I am writing now. I look for reviews that tell a complete story – something that is hard to do when just trying to blast someone’s ratings up or down. I found Lisa Treu and The Treu Group and I really liked that they were a family business and they were independent – not working under one of the big names. I liked that I read stories like this about real people that Lisa and Steve and their group have actually helped (helped is something you rarely find in real estate transactions as many people are just trying to grab money). I figured I would give them a shot and see if they could help me like they helped others. Now let me tell you about how they have helped me and my family and why I feel like you would be doing your family a disservice if you do not work with them. Real estate is just money and assets/liabilities to some people but to me and probably to you – it’s my life and even more importantly, it’s my family’s life. I looked to Lisa and Steve and their group not only to find a house for my family but to find a place where my family can and will live the best life they possibly can. Lisa and Steve listened, knew what we wanted, and then helped us to figure out what we didn’t want. They got to know our family so they could really make sure they weren’t just selling us a house. If you are reading this and it’s not June of 2021, I would assume the real estate market in Florida has gotten crazier or has settled down. In June of 2021, there is no inventory, Lisa runs to a property the second it’s listed to show it to us remotely. When we have bought houses in the past we have looked at less than 20 houses and then made an offer. Because of the inventory levels we had to widen our search and look at properties that we probably weren’t going to like but didn’t have too many other options. We looked at more properties than we have in the past and each and every time I felt bad like I was wasting their time but they just kept pushing to find us that perfect house for our family. They referred me to an amazing inspector. When issues with the inspection came back they even referred us to contractors to quote out the repairs. They were on-site with all of these vendors as well and relayed all of the information back to us while we were up north. Not only have Lisa and Steve been there every step of the way, but they pick up the phone and answer silly questions I have like “who do I get electrical and gas service from”. If you are someone like me who is moving somewhere new and needs to find someone they can trust to find a new home and a new life for their family, call Treu Group. I have so much gratitude for Nathania Reynolds. She was a blessing. She was perceptive, and accommodating to my situation. I chose Treu Group out of many through an internet search, because the company is owned by a woman. The excellent reviews told the rest of the story. I found myself moving from Kansas City to Delray Beach at the crest of a tidal wave of change, a pandemic and within a two month time frame. No one could have predicted that I would arrive here a week and a half before the shelter in place orders began. Nathania and I had spoken on the phone and planned to look at about 12 homes while I was here for a weekend after my interview. She and I made an offer on a home, after I knew I had secured my new job. The offer on the house subsequently fell through a week before I was to leave Kansas City and begin my first day on the job. Nathania remained positive and encouraging. She soon had a list of homes to preview thanks to her excellent organization. She offered virtual walk throughs with me for the homes that best suited my needs while I finished packing in KC. Nathania worked tirelessly and went above and beyond my expectations. I found the home I dreamt of, because of her kindness and hard work. I cannot be happier with the entire Treu team and their ability to deliver excellent service and support during very trying and stressful times. The Treu Group did a phenomenal job of marketing and selling our parents home. The house had multiple contracts by day three, one of which we closed with. Lisa Treu’s expert advice on the current climate of the market and on pricing helped us come up with a price that was a win win for both buyer and seller. She was also exceptional at pointing out the advantages of the home. Their team pulled out all the stops and utilized all their means to create such a frenzy on the house. We were astonished on how much action there was on Zillow and how many bookings there were to see the house especially in today’s COVID 19 climate. We couldn’t be happier! We highly recommend The Treu Group for all your real estate needs. They are the best!
