This was my husband and I’s first home buying experience and Kim made it very easy for us-especially since we are coming from out of state. Kim is very responsive and has good knowledge about the area, as well as recommendations for reputable people to do updates/repairs. She was willing to go over everything with us step by step which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely recommend and hire her again.

The Best Real Estate Agent – Renee is a Rockstar! Working with Renee was an absolute dream from start to finish. Dion answered the questions I had, and those I didn’t know I had. All while helping me to negotiate things that I was really passionate about making happen. My wife and I were floored by Renee Fonteneau’s absolutely outstanding service as our realtor in the purchase of our new home. From the outset, she listened attentively to our buying goals – e.g., budget, house type, aesthetic preferences, neighborhoods, and the like. We could tell this because throughout the buying process she remained focused on those goals and fluidly referenced them when discussing prospective home choices with us. That saved us us loads of time because she identified good prospects and eliminated bad ones for us. Renee is a great communicator. She kept us informed at every step of the process and contacted us immediately whenever significant new developments arose. She returned calls, texts, and emails as soon as possible. She explained the operation of the contract to purchase clearly and effectively in terms we easily understood. She fully answered all of our many questions. She even created spreadsheets (of her own design) that allowed us to compare key detail of candidate homes at a glance. It was always clear to us that we were Renee’s overarching concern. For example, when we finally located our dream house, she advised us to bid lower than the amount we’d told her we wanted to offer. That proved Renee’s extraordinary ethics, because that meant she’d get a lower commission than if she’d simply transmitted our offer. She was literally looking out for our interests at the expense of her own. When it came to the offer to purchase, Renee came up with creative contract clauses regarding repairs that dovetailed our needs with the seller’s motivations, which saved us time and money. She thought creatively and carefully about how to get the best price possible at a time when the local home market was historically difficult for buyers. She deftly advocated for us with the seller’s agent during repair negotiations. Renee is a very pleasant person, but a tough bargainer. Renee worked tirelessly and seamlessly with our lender, closing agent, and inspectors so we always felt everyone involved was on the same page. She referred us to an excellent general inspector and an array of specialty inspectors who conducted detailed, top-notch analyses that clearly identified the nature of any problems found, and for each problem, quantified its scope, explained the steps needed to resolve it, and accurately ballparked how much it would cost to repair. Prior to closing, she proactively followed up on every detail of the contract and ensured that our every concern was fully addressed. And if you haven’t figured it out already, Renee is an extremely hard worker. But by far, the best part about working with Renee was her witty and caring nature and “let’s make this fun” attitude towards the entire process. It made home buying an adventure instead of a chore. Her personality always won the day. Renee made us feel that we were always in control of the process and well-equipped to make the best choices possible. She made buying a home a smooth and enjoyable undertaking. We would definitely use Renee’s services again and recommend her to other prospective clients without reservation.

Melissa did a phenomenal job when it came to helping my family and I buy our first house. When everything felt hopeless she picked us up by the boot straps and got us in the house we were looking for. She was never afraid to negotiate for the things we needed. In the case I have to ever buy another house she will always be my go to realtor. Thank you for making another dream become a reality!
