Not only did she help us find and purchase the perfect house during the difficult time of COVID but she helped us sell the same house for 2.5x only five years later. Wendy is outstanding! She was extremely patient with us as we began our search as renters and ended up buyers. When we sold, we didn't think twice and reached out to Wendy. Wendy was referred to us by a colleague of mine. Our family was in a challenging situation as we were moving from Japan during a time when houses in our desired town were in very high demand and supply was very limited. We started our search from Japan and Wendy was outstanding: she was very patient in hearing our needs and getting to know family by taking phone calls at odd times given the time zones challenges. Wendy showed us a number of properties while we were remote before we moved back to the US. Since we couldn't be there ourselves, Wendy not only showed us the property but also served as our advocate during the search process. There were a few homes that seemed attractive to us initially but, when she saw them on our behalf, Wendy was very diligent in looking at the property, going through town records and checking with others in the area to do her very deep diligence on the property. In some cases, she advised us that the property might look attractive online but was not in our interests. We never questioned for a second that Wendy had our best interests at heart during this difficult period and, in looking back, Wendy's recommendations were 100% accurate and we are so grateful that we had her looking out for us. Because of the very challenging market conditions, we were required to move into a rental property before completing our home search. Wendy was excellent at adapting to our conditions and finding us a rental property that served our needs very well by having an excellent location only steps from our son's school. While in our rental, Wendy continued to be very attentive to our ultimate home search and actively kept us apprised of what was happening in the market and which properties were becoming available. She was also very sensitive to the difficulties in moving back to the US after being abroad for several years and helped us get acclimated to the town. She was the first person to welcome us when we arrived into town at our new temporary home. When we finally found the home that was for us, it was like a dream. All Wendy had to do was read our faces when we were going through the home and take what she knew about our home search efforts so far and she could tell that the property was meant for us. She quickly started negotiating with the seller's agent at that moment and her lightning quick communication about our enthusiasm for our home really was the distinguishing factor in getting our our offer accepted (despite other offers at higher amounts being discussed) and ultimately made us successful in completing our home search. We will never forget the day that she called us to tell us that our offer was accepted and the tears of joy that came to us, and her, following the happy news. In short, Wendy did a tremendous job for us in one of the more challenging moving situations of our life despite historic-level challenges in the housing market. Wendy was our trusted advisor and attentive advocate during every second of our home search and has become a dear friend to our family. I could not recommend enough taking advantage of her kind, welcoming and thoughtful approach to finding a home in this wonderful community!

Wendy was incredible in guiding us through our relocation from Chicago to Darien, CT. She worked with us for seven months before we found our home. Being long distance meant Wendy was our eyes on the ground. She visited available homes multiple times, took detailed videos, and educated us on every single home we looked at, as well as the towns. She was able to find our home, and the confidence we had in her allowed us to purchase it, sight unseen, from a distance, against multiple competitive bids. Even after we closed on our home, Wendy stuck by our side and connected us with the necessary businesses and resources to get settled. I would recommend Wendy in a heartbeat as she genuinely cared about ensuring our new home was the right fit for myself, my husband, and our children. Simply put, she's just the best!
