Look no further, as Eddie is a SPOT-ON choice for all real estate needs. When the time came to sell a property that we had believed would be a difficult sale, we were considering going through the process on our own. Thankfully, we took the time to speak with Eddie and his guidance and expertise proved invaluable. Eddie carries himself in such a way that one would believe that he has been in this business for 25 years, although in actuality he IS 25! Age has no bearing on his competence. He is a truly polished professional and his knowledge and ability were very much impressive. Eddie is not an average agent. He was there for us every step of the way, walking us through an extensive revamp of the property and advising on what to repair/remodel and what to leave be, permitting issues with the town, multiple offers, two difficult inspections, the appraisal, and so on. Response times to our many questions were swift and answers to all questions were prompt. Marketing efforts were absolutely fantastic, with a nearly three page long custom marketing plan executed so very well and a dozen buyers coming through our property from his personal social media marketing and connections alone. That is the way of today’s world. On the negotiation front, Eddie was very aggressive and there is no doubt that his efforts were critical in our ability to secure multiple offers and top dollar for our property. At the closing table, even the buyers’ agent commented that she was very impressed with Eddie and that we were fortunate to have him on our side. Anyone can toss a property online, but not everyone will be as fantastic at walking you through the difficult process of selling a home. Again, we unequivocally recommend Eddie Schmidt whether you are selling or buying. True, high quality service from a true professional.

I would be remiss if I didn't take the time to write a highly positive review about hiring Eddie Schmidt of Douglas Elliman to represent us in the sale of our home in 2018. We were residents for a few short years in a new '55 and better' upscale townhouse community when we decided to move full time to our second home down south. With age restrictions, new units still unsold, and only one other resale, the potential for finding a buyer was limited at best. We met Eddie while he was showing other units along with his mentor Kelley Taylor and immediately connected with him. He was young, positive, bright, articulate, and personable, but also highly professional and on his game. He was so young in fact, that we dubbed him "our millennial agent". He assured us that he would do everything in his power to find us a buyer by utilizing all of his resources. We knew we were taking a chance giving him the opportunity to work with us, but we realized very quickly that our instincts about him were spot on. We have worked with seasoned real estate professionals in the past, but Eddie was, by far, more capable. He found us a serious, solid buyer and we quickly closed with virtually no issues. He remained accessible all through the process and we were very much at ease knowing that he would lead us to our end goal successfully. I have and will continue to recommend him to others. It was an absolute delight getting to know him as a person. He is, in so many ways, an exemplary individual and I just know that he will continue to shine and rise to the top of his career.

Eddie represented the seller but I always felt he had our interests in mind as well. He was incredibly responsive to each and every request we made proving us access when needed. Always professional. He wasnt directly involved with the negotiations so I could not provide a rating.

Nikki is very professional. She listed our home and one week later we had five offers. Two were full price and two exceeded the listing price. Our buyer was very qualified and we moved on to our new home. She will go above and beyond to sell your home and always be professional.
