When my father passed away, I became responsible for settling his out-of-state estate. I live in Washington, while his home was in Virginia, so after getting the house cleaned out and remodeled, I began the daunting task of finding a real estate agent I could truly trust from afar. Shannon Harrington and her team came highly recommended by one of my father’s neighbors, and I am so grateful they did. Selling a home in a state you don’t live in is not for the faint of heart, but Shannon and her team made the entire process feel like a cakewalk. From start to finish, she was a strong advocate for me and handled every detail with professionalism, care, and compassion. After the inspection, Shannon went above and beyond to help resolve every item on the report — even going so far as to personally coordinate and hire trusted contractors to ensure the final issues were addressed quickly and properly. Her dedication, communication, and follow-through gave me complete peace of mind during what could have been an incredibly stressful experience. I only wish she worked in Washington because she truly made this process painless when it could have easily become a disaster. I can’t recommend Shannon Harrington enough. You will absolutely not regret choosing her to represent you in your next real estate transaction.

Shannon Harrington and her teammates are some of the most knowledgeable, approachable, and patient people I’ve ever met. I had been looking for a couple of years for just the right property as far north as Winchester, VA and as far south as Lexington, VA. Along the way, I came across Shannon’s website and after sending her a note, she replied right away, we had a lovely meet n’ greet via phone, and then she joined me on my home-finding journey! For about a year, we traipsed all over my “target area”, she taught me about the history of the area, she offered recommendations for meeting other good folks in the area, and she helped me stay confident even when a couple of offers fell through because of inspection findings. Then, when I was abroad, I happened upon what would become my home just listed on Zillow. She made time to hustle over, send me videos and pics, and help me get an offer on the table asap. And she didn’t stop there. She was with me every step of the way through negotiations, through inspection, through numerous appraisals (due to unique nature of the property), and finally through closing. She has such good humans she works with from banks to inspectors to title offices, all of whom made this experience for which I’ll always have so much gratitude. Look no further if you want an expert, a trusted advisor, and someone who can keep you optimistic come what may!
