?In 2024, my Dad passed away unexpectedly and I was tasked with selling his home. This was my first time as a seller and I wasn’t familiar with the process. A friend of mine suggested contacting Nick, she had worked with him on selling her parents house. From the first time I met with Nick, I knew he was the realtor I wanted to work with. He went over each step of the process and gave me options for pricing which I appreciated. Nick explained the pros and cons of each level of pricing, so I had all the information I needed to make an informed decision. My concern was how long it would take me to prepare the house, as this was a big job both emotionally and physically. Nick was always reminding me that the date for putting the house on the market was flexible and never put any pressure on me to meet it. He always responded quickly whenever I had a question throughout the selling process. The house was on the market for 12 days and we received 2 offers. I was able to sell the house for asking price. Nick was wonderful to work with and I have already suggested him to a neighbor that is selling this spring. If I were to buy or sell in the future, he would be the person I would call.

Nick was wonderful with helping us to purchase our first home. At the advice of friends and family, we were anticipating having to tour 20+ homes to find the perfect match. At first we were open to looking at a variety of different homes to determine our preferences. Nick was great with fielding questions to help us narrow down what we were looking for. On our first day of touring homes, he answered any questions we had without imposition or pressure and managed our expectations for the home-buying process, negotiations, all the way up to close. We ended up purchasing the third house we looked at. We are thankful for Nick helping us to secure our dream home!

My husband and I were newly weds just trying to find our first home together, we were struggling to figure out what we wanted and where! We met Nick and it just changed everything. I am not a local here so moving from a different state, I needed more guidance. Nick guided us with patience on where to look after listening to our needs and wants, along with showing us so many homes and walking through them all with us. I did not expect him to go so thorough with everything which made the scariness of buying our first home disappear. He helped us find a home that was below our price range, helped us find contractors to help fix up the home and helped when we were having issues with our lender! He was so hands-on and it was just a great experience, house buying shouldn't have to be so stressful and he made it so much easier for us to navigate through it all. He for sure knows the area and is just such a fun person to chat with too. He made the house showings fun to go do versus "alright time for ANOTHER house walk-through on my already busy day". I will highly recommend him to any of my friends/family and would absolutely have him help us sell our first home to find our next when the time comes!

Nick is a wonderful realtor to work with. In 2023 we reached out to Nick to sell our first home. He was very patient with our family. We had trouble finding what we wanted but Nick was understanding and continued to help us search Carroll and Frederick counties. He was very reliable and always did his best to ensure things were moving along smoothly. We eventually found a home in Carroll that we thought we would be a good fit for us. Nick did great with negotiating and was able to get us an early pre occupancy so we could sell our other home. Less than a year in the new home my husband and I decided it was not a good fit for us. I called Nick out of the blue and expressed my concerns and asked if it was possible for us to sell and buy again in such a short time. Of course, we’re talking about Nick here so I knew he would give me good news. Within a few weeks we found the perfect home in the town we wanted to be in. What we didn’t know was that even though the home had been on the market for a while was that we would soon be up against another very strong offer. Nick strategized and all in all won the negotiation battle for us. I can’t even express how scared we were to lose this home, but Nick did it. Once we were all moved in we were ready to list our home. Nick decided he had other plans. Another realtor at his office had a family that was looking for a home similar to what we were bringing to the market. We did an off the market tour and to our surprise the family loved it. We got an offer that we couldn’t turn down and were able to have a 30 day settlement. There was one bump we hit but Nick was able to figure everything out for us and keep the stress to a minimum. I honestly don’t think there are enough good things I can say about Nick. He’s a wonderful realtor and an overall great person to work with. He knows all of the best spots to eat at in Carroll and the surrounding areas. All in all, if you want a realtor how who knows his stuff and will keep you grounded during your buying process, go with Nick.

When starting our search for a home with Nick, we were just really putting feelers out there as we were not on a timeline or in a rush. We fully did not expect to find our home and move to the next chapter in our lives already! We were very uncertain about buying a home as our price range (where we felt comfortable) was a lot smaller than we had originally thought it would be. In the beginning, this was a small challenge for us because there was nothing in that range within the parameters of what we wanted. This challenge was overcome first by looking at homes at a slightly high price, but then we adjusted the parameters in which we were looking. (for example: smaller yard for more sq footage) In the end, we were able to buy a home at our original price range that did not require any additional work, which was a huge deal for us. We also were able to lock in our new home even with several other offers on the table. We would highly recommend Nick and his team to anyone buying or selling a home. They made the process smooth, especially for first-time home buyers like us! They were knowledgeable, patient, and always willing and available to answer any questions. Thanks to Nick and his team we felt comfortable and confident in our decisions, and we are settling on the perfect home for us. We couldn’t be happier!
