As a long time client, Amy was (as usual) a fantastic, knowledgeable resource when it came to the purchase of our forever home and sale of our new home. These days no home purchases/sales are without hiccups and even though I’ve been through this process numerous times I would never do it without an expert like Amy to guide us!

Listing my home with Amy Lacy at Patterson Schwartz was a wonderful experience. From the first day we met and discussed the listing to the day of settlement, everything was explained and professionally handled. Amy and her coworker, Cheryl, were always ready to help with any questions or concerns I had. The photography of my home for the listing was excellent. Based on a friend’s recommendation after interviewing 3 agents, we chose Amy Lacy to help us sell our home. That was one of the best decisions we ever made as she did a perfect job. So we encouraged my in-laws to also contract with Amy to sell their house after they interviewed others including the son of a close family friend. Again an excellent decision. This latest sale was complicated by several contingencies and a short timeline. The buyer’s agent was a newcomer and Amy unfortunately had to continually educate her on the process. One time an important document needed to be signed just before settlement. The buyer signed it, and his agent sent it to Amy 6.5 hours later. Amy in turn confirmed the document and sent is to us 4 minutes later. Through email, texting and phone calls, Amy provided us with immediate feedback and advice, including during weekends and July 4th. Professional, personable and prompt, Amy was the ideal agent to work with. We have recommended Amy to a close friend. Her house was contracted immediately upon listing. We are glad that be done with selling homes in Delaware, and will look back upon the emotional times with the positive thoughts of having chosen a wonderful agent to guide us through the process.

This is the third transaction I have worked with Cheryl on and again, she was all you could ask for in an agent - professional, knowledgable, responsive, and committed. She recently guided us in selling my fathers home and not only handled all the legal and marketing aspects but provided resources and helpful guidance on related matters such as contractors and what areas we needed to focus on to reach the "ready for sale" goal. And I can not imagine a more responsive agent, she was always available which was critical as we had some last minute issues. Buy or sell, Cheryl will help make the process as smooth as possible, and her experience in the marketplace is truly impressive.

Amy is so patient and is very skilled in allowing the buyer to identify pros/cons of properties without influencing their decision. Also she is extremely knowledgeable on the structural, electrical, plumbing of properties to highlight to the buyer future potential costs. She eliminates the stress in the process by providing reliable, skilled tradesmen's contact information if any work is needed on the property.
