Kelly was great. She was very informative and easy to talk to. There wasn't a question I had that she couldn't answer. There was a time that I could've been in a bidding war because the house was about to go onto the MLS website but Kelly contacted the new owner before he listed the house and informed him I was a very interested buyer.The seller chose not to list it and Kelly not only negotiated my having a say so in what paint color among other things while the house was being made ready for sale she got the seller to pay all of the closing costs. Now in the market we're in now (seller's market) that was not only an added bonus for me but greatly appreciated. Kelly was there every step of the way right up until I signed the closing documents. Buying a house this time around was a smooth process and Kelly had almost everything to do with that.

Kelly is an awesome realtor. She answered all of our questions quickly and if she didn't have the answer she knew the right person to ask and got us the answer. Her local knowledge is without equal. I highly recommend her to anyone buying a home.

Kelly Koenning is the absolute best of the best of the best. My husband and I had only bought one home before our recent move, and that had been 22 years before. We'd never sold a home, so we needed help with both selling and really, buying, as it had been so long since we'd done it. Also, during the process of our sale/buy, I was offered an absolutely stellar job opportunity, so time was of the essence in getting both deals closed. Going through each of the 5 stars I've given Kelly will really help cover the stellar experience we had with her. Local knowledge: Kelly is from Elgin so her local knowledge of both the Elgin and Austin area is very deep. She has the connections necessary to get things done in a timely manner. Process expertise: Kelly not only really stands out with how well versed she is as an agent, but also her capability of explaining the process.Home selling and buying is complicated, so never fear if you don't understand - Kelly will patiently explain everything to you in terms you can understand. That is really key in this process - having someone that can translate the language into layman's terms. Responsiveness: I don't know how Kelly does it, I really don't but she is one of the most responsive business relationships I've ever had. She is on it, on it, on it all of the time! Negotiation skills: Kelly is very transparent while keeping to the letter of the law. By law, there are things during the process that Kelly can't tell you - no realtor can- nor are there areas where they can give specific advice. But Kelly will tell you that no matter what, do what makes you feel comfortable. In a busy market (and where we live in Elgin has been crazy) it is very easy to get caught up in the frenzy. In my particular situation as I mentioned before, I was on a timetable - I couldn't change jobs during the close as it would have hurt my loan application process, but the new job wasn't going to wait forever. Kelly literally moved heaven and earth to get BOTH of our closes done on the promised date. It is so rare to find someone these days who makes and keeps promises, genuinely wants to help people, and is committed to making their community a better place to live - but that is the best description of Kelly that I can think of. One thing you will notice about Kelly- you don't see many of her signs around town in yards. That's because Kelly sells her houses by helping sellers price them fairly, describe them accurately, and is very skilled at matching buyers and sellers and identifying needs. As for our new house, it is our dream home and we absolutely LOVE it.

Kelly is outstanding. We were selling and relocating and lived in CO while our house was on the market. Our property was large and had a lot of unique features and she made signage and did other things to point out things that buyers might otherwise have missed. She went to the house weekly, checked on everything, watered plants, and even dealt with the police for us when our home was burglarized. I recommend her wholeheartedly and she will absolutely be our buying agent when we come back home.
