We cannot say enough about Katie Fedak. From our first conversation to our final home walk through, Katie was with us every step of the way during our first home buying experience and provided a level of comfort and expertise that is undeniable. Although my partner and I had very aggressive work schedules, Katie’s hard work and flexibility made this purchase happen; Katie utilized a countless number of resources and references to coordinate all of our services, would work around our schedule and delivered late night and weekend updates, and provided honest and earnest guidance throughout the process. Katie and her team blessed us with a smooth and seamless home buying experience that every first time home buyer should enjoy. We would recommend Katie to anybody who is buying. Katie is THE BEST realtor out there. She is professional, extremely knowledgeable and from our first meeting, her passion for her work really stood out to me. Katie made every step of our home sale seamless and easy for us. Anything that seemed like an obstacle for us, Katie handled with grace, always assuring us everything would be fine and go the way we wanted - and it did. Katie is easy to get in touch with and always responds to calls quickly. After our very first meeting, she made our conversations feel like we were sitting and talking with a friend - while still being extremely professional and focused on her work. I wasn’t happy having to sell our house and move away from our kids’ first home but Katie said it would be exciting. I didn’t believe her but after being on the market for 4 days, we had over 40 showings and 12 offers - it really was exciting! She walked us through all of the offers, some with clauses we had never heard of, and she undoubtedly got us the most we could have possibly sold our house for. All while keeping us smiling through the stressful moments. When we needed to sell our house, a mutual friend recommended Katie to us and said “if you need a realtor, you need my friend Katie, she’s a beast” and this is true in the best possible way. To those reading this, I know it is long but I promise it is worth the read. If you’re a first time home buyer, a new seller, or looking for a forever home-Katie will be your person. You’ll see why after you read this review. 8 years ago, Ted, was searching for his first home. He was working with another relator but felt he was inexperienced. After feeling frustrated, Ted reached out to Katie at 7PM. Within a minutes, his text was answered & their search began next day. Ted had two people joining him, his best friend & mom, this many people could be a lot for a realtor to juggle. Except Katie worked with each person individually & made sure they all felt heard. The place they decided on, was a beautiful condo in Matawan, NJ. As a first time home buyer, Ted felt his experience was one of kind & credited it all to Katie. For 8 years Katie consistently sent Ted helpful housing market information, never missed a holiday, & always made sure to stay in touch. It was really incredible feeling a level of care & impeccable detail through the mail, I did not know that was possible. I share that story, because 8 years later Ted & I decided we want a home together & he wanted to sell the condo. The only stipulation he had was we MUST use Katie. I say stipulation but it was really a deal breaker. Selling & buying at the same time is extremely stressful & tricky. With Katie, the process was full of excitement. She prepared us immediately for staging and checked in to make sure we were not overwhelmed. She helped put the finishing touches on the condo & found the best photographer. It was Super Bowl weekend & time for the condo to be shown. We didn’t expect much from the weekend we chose, but within an hour a dozen people were scheduled. We get a call from Katie…the condo sold for the highest recorded price the association has ever seen. This sale success was all because of Katie. Not to add additional pressure, but after the condo sold so quickly, we were hoping to do the impossible and win a home...quickly. Katie was ready to make this happen. Some of the places I thought were going to be winners. Except when you work with Katie, it is not about her finding you the quickest sale. It is about you finding the best home today & best return when it is time to down size decades later. It is incredible working with someone who did not just think of us presently, but also in the future. A vacation in the middle of the hunt but were dying to see two houses going on the market. We thought we were going to miss our chance but Katie spent her Saturday FaceTiming us with tours. We loved both places & wished we could have been there. Katie made our wish come true & was able to convince the seller to wait for us to get back. In this market, I don’t know what magic she had to get sellers, who had bids in their hands, to wait for us. Our plane landed & we drove right to the showings. We were in love with 2 houses & Katie helped us evaluate which option was truly best for us. Then she helped figure out what to bid so our favorite house did not slip away. Within a day, Katie gave us a call & we won. We could not believe it, how did we get so lucky? I realized quickly that our luck was not luck, it was Katie. Her professionalism, negotiation, and hard freaking work won us this house. She made the impossible, possible. We were able to sell & buy, time everything up perfectly so we could have a double close. I am still in awe with how much she did for us throughout bidding & closing. She gave us an incredible team that cared as much as she did. She did more than any realtor ever would, because that’s Katie’s standard. To end this review…Katie is more than a relator, she is a best friend. She is someone you can whole heartedly trust. Someone you know will go to battle for you and fight so hard. Someone who is cheering you on every step of the way. You will never find anyone like Katie, she is one of a kind and the absolute best realtor you can have. If you made it this far, thank you. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If you want to be on a winning team, then you would be crazy not to work with Katie. She goes above and beyond! She is a professional who loves what she does and truly cares about her clients. As first time homebuyers, we did not know how intense the market really was. Katie educated and guided us every step of the way. Communication was easy and Katie was always there to respond quickly. We could never thank Katie enough for all the efforts she did to help us with our home. Once we found a possible forever home, we placed an offer right away. We quickly realized that the sellers had many offers that were higher and better than ours. Winning the house seemed impossible. However, Katie fought for us. She told us she will see this through and she did! We will never forget her telling us that and then being on that phone call with her telling us our offer won. Not only was winning the house impossible, but we were able to close in 3 weeks because of how quick and efficient Katie and her entire team was! It is still surreal to us that we won our home. We could never have done this without Katie. She made us feel cared for in this entire process. Not only did we win our forever home but we also won a forever friend! We would highly recommend Katy as a realtor. From the beginning of the process right through to the closing she showed herself to be knowledgeable, considerate, supportive & fast acting. She represented us fairly, always on top of her game. Katy worked hard & was able to secure a better sale price than we had asked for.
