Elizabeth Schmidtberger was an amazing local realtor and an amazing individual as well. We put our home up for sale in early January right when the real estate market began to tumble in the Austin, Texas, area. This was a time when interest rates rose to a new high level since the pandemic era of low rates. We actually had our custom built home listed for nine months. During these nine months, Elizabeth conscientiously not only worked hard for us, but also served as our emotional support throughout. She remained very honest with us and tried to keep our home relevant in the current market. She also called us once a week, without fail, to chat with us and keep us current on any real estate news and trends. During this stressful time, she became a friend to us and our most avid supporter! She always expressed a positive attitude that we would eventually sell our home and when, nine months later, a buyer came- we closed on the sale within 36 hours! Elizabeth has been amazing throughout every step of our home-buying journey! We closed on a home that is perfect for us, for a price that fit our budget, within one month of searching. Even after closing, Elizabeth continued to assist us when we ran into issues with our gas company, and she went above and beyond to help us get our gas service restored. This is a stand-up group of people. Elizabeth is a wonderful realtor and directed me to equally capable professionals for every step of the process. As a first time home buyer, I needed a lot of guidance and had a ton of questions. They gave me all the tools and info I needed to to understand and control the process. I was also admittedly wary that I'd be taken advantage of due to my inexperience, but Elizabeth and her team were transparent, proactive and clearly put my interests first.
