Linda Pride was OUTSTANDING! PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE AS WELL AS EMPETHETIC TO OUR NEEDS. SHE CONNECTED US WITH HER MORTGAGE CONTACT AND WE CLOSED IN 2 WEEKS AFTER A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH A PREVIOUS MAJOR BANKING INSTITUTION WHO SHALL REMAIN NAMELESS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PRIDE TEAM FOR ALL OF YOUR HOME PURCHASE NEEDS. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review from Zillow.com

I was a first time home buyer and signed a buyer-realtor contract with Robbin Pride, which included an additional $1500 being added to my closing costs. Her explanation (after the closing) was it was a ‘standard contract for her office, for properties under $100k’. At the time I signed the contract it was simply referred to as a ‘standard realtor contract’. I figured the $1500 was a legitimate fee that normally buyers contribute. A legitimate fee would have been openly communicated to my mortgage lender. They need all fees disclosed to properly calculate closing costs. However, the ‘additional commission’ wasn’t disclosed until the closing date - leaving me to either pay Robbin the additional $1500 or walk from the closing, mid-signing. I believed in Robbin, so rather than challenging it I continued the closing, assuming it a miscommunication on my end. Knowing what I know now, I would have walked out of the closing. I didn’t know though, so I continued with the closing. After closing, I began researching realtor fees. I made cold calls to 5 realtors, one referring me to a real estate lawyer, all whom agree that I signed a bad contract and lost the money. Many expressed how it’s unusual for a buyer to sign a realtor contract (since their commission is paid by the seller, realtors representing buyers don’t typically sign a contract with clients.) I raised the issue with my lender and lawyer, explaining I had signed a contract under false assumptions it was standard. After explaining the situation fully, both made calls making an appeal to Robbin to ‘do the right thing’ and return all or a portion of the fees. Robbin Pride won’t even acknowledge what she did as wrong. If anyone I’ve talked to agreed with her, I wouldn’t write a negative review. Not one person I’ve talked to associated with the realty business can justify her charging addition fees to a buyer, let alone for $1500. Not one. What I know now is I trusted Robbin and she took advantage of that. I was disappointed and would never recommend using Robbin Pride, The Pride Team, or Pathway Elite Properties.

I called Linda about seeing a property, after finding on Zillow as a “premier” agent. This would seem to be an invite for business. I called the Pride team and she was very receptive. I asked to email her over some properties and she said, “here is my number, just text them over”. She said she was available the day I was asking and would get started on the visits right away. I sent over 3 properties to view. Then, no response for 2 days. I text again less than 12 hours before we were to visit properties, with no response. I guess they don’t need the business or appreciate customer service.
