If you are looking for a agent in his physical area, I would highly recommend Phil. He has a broad base of experience making him effective, which any broker can do. More importantly, in my experience, he has heart. Our transaction wasn't flawless, but few are and if you have one that is that is unique and you should cherish it! What I find important is the end result, which was solid in our case. His process and effort were present when needed, and his understanding of the challenges on all sides was commendable without enabling---perfect in my opinion! My favorite part about Phil was he owned the couple mistakes when they happened and he fixed them immediately with a 'whatever it takes' swiftness and attitude. I expect and respect that, and he exceeded my expectations when all said and done. I would work with him again in a heartbeat, and I had no knowledge of Phil prior--so this was my first experience and he had nothing to lose. Give him a fair shot at earning your business. He won't come in with tap dancing shoes on like some do (and I am wary of), but I challenge you to find someone who will actually do the work (he even had to physically do some of the work at the property himself!) and include you in the process remaining open to feedback and having dialogue. He felt like a partner in the process and we got the job done!

Based on my positive experience I encourage anyone wanting to sell or buy a home to contact Phil Harlan. I found Phil to be totally honest & ethical, and forthright in his guidance when selling my property. Phil is quick to take action, and a big bonus is his network of those in real estate in the area. I met Phil approximately 2 years prior to listing my property and during those 2 years Phil kept in touch with me through my email. In the near future I will be seeking a home again in Olympia and I will only work with Phil. I know I'll be a "winner" again. Fay Smith, Medford, OR
