We contracted with Sotheby's to sell our home in Asheville nc. We then had someone interested in the house and the inspection revealed that our house needed a lot of foundation work. Marilyn's husband is a high end builder and we thought we could count on her for suggesting some people to help us fix the problem. She never responded to our asking her for some contractors. We got our house fixed on our own by finding surveyors, inspectors and contractors. We had an offer and the buyers deposit was supposed to go to the bank in our account on a day in November. We waited on that day very anxiously for the money to be deposited in our account and for Marilyn to confirm it did. At 5, we assumed the buyer backed out and were devastated. We had to call her at 6 and she said, oh right. the money went in your account. Our closing date came and we signed the papers a few hours ahead of the buyers, as we had to leave early in the day. We waited anxiously all day for Marilyn to call us and tell us the closing was done. She never called. We had to contact the closing lawyer to find out. Two months later, we still have not heard one word from her , not a thank you, not a professional goodbye, not a word. She didn't sell the house, just took the listing and did the minimum with very poor communication. If you want a realtor who keeps you up to date about your sale, your deposit and closing money transfers you can do much much better. There are a thousand realtors in the Asheville area that would be more interested in you.

Marilyn went out of her way to be helpful even in the small things. She was skillful at pricing and kept abreast of what was going on in the market. We had a very niche piece of property and she worked extremely hard to get it sold. The feedback on a showing was very quick and we always knew that she was in our corner. We were treated as though we were her only clients. She is an excellent realtor!

Marilyn Wright has sold several homes for my friends and myself. She is very knowledgeable about the Asheville area. She will work hard to advertise and sell your home. She has an extensive knowledge in home construction which is very useful when looking for or buying your new home. I would Highly recommend Marilyn Wright as your Asheville Realtor.

Marilyn knows the area and the market very well. She works for her customers, so that you can find what you are looking for at a price that is in your budget and a fair price for what you are buying. If we need to buy or sell again in the future we will use Marilyn again and we recommend her to all of our friends. She sets the bar for a realtor and it's hard to find anyone else that compares. That is why she is listed as one of the best of the best in WNC.
