We have both bought a home with Marc’s help and sold a home recently. Marc is the ultimate professional. There are lot of real estate brokers in Bay Area that give a bad name to the profession - Marc is one who helps validate and elevate the entire profession. He provided honest opinions that helped us from making mistakes during home buying. He has a great network in the Los Altos and surrounding areas. On the home sale he provided an end to end concierge service. We will always use Marc’s help for our real estate needs.

My wife and I worked with Marc for well over a year looking for our first home. He is simply put the best realtor you will ever find or hope to find. I stand back after purchasing our home with Marc a little over a month ago and remain amazed by how great he was in every way at every step of our journey. We couldn't be happier with the home we found and the relationship we developed with Marc. Marc is: 1. Responsive: Marc responded to countless e-mails and texts promptly and professionally in a thorough, prompt, succinct, and insightful manner despite an extended search for the right home. 2. Respected: Marc is universally respected by his peers. He was able to leverage his vast network of relationships with other realtors, develop relationships with new ones, get quality answers to questions, and we knew through multiple offers that we had an advantage because people knew and trusted Mark. 3. Ethical: Marc was straightforward with us at every step of the way. He placed our needs first and gave us straightforward advice even when it wasn't going to lead to a quick sale/commission. I work with many finance advisers, and his approach was exceptional. 4. Knowledgeable. Marc's insight of our market was deep and unmatched. Marc is a world class realtor who helped us find a great property in a perfect location. He is patient and extremely knowledgable and always gives a full and honest assessment of what he is showing, without any touch of salesmanship. He was able to quickly discern our needs and only show us the things that were a good fit for what we were looking for. Finally, he is just a great guy who continues to help us even though the purchase is now closed. Highly recommended.

The experience we had with Marc was extraordinary. We are south american family that arrived a couple of months ago to work in the Palo Alto area. We couldn't find a place to buy in that area due to budget. We have kids so school district mattered to us and most of our search was done remotely. Marc knows the Bay Area very well, his knowledge and professionalism are out of the norm and he gave us all the tips and suggestions on school districts and shared his experience with other families. We looked at Mountain View, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Redwood City, San Carlos and Belmont. Mark is well connected with agents in these areas. We ended up finding a house in San Carlos that was exactly what we needed. We were highly concerned about how the negotiation would go as the market is so tough, we were not sure we would get the house we wanted as there were other offers made. Marc was key and after hours of negotiation, our offer was accepted. Timing mattered to us as well. Marc is one of those few agents that really wants to ensure you are buying what you need, pays attention to details, ensures you are paying the right value for what the property you get and is very transparent all along the consulting process. We are very happy in the house, we had no surprises, he engaged well with the seller's agent and exceeded our expectations. there is really nothing that I can think of where Marc could improve or where other past agents we engaged, have done better than him. I strongly recommend engaging with Marc at The Sereno Group.

It is easy to give Marc Roos 5 stars in every category listed. Marc represented us in the sale of our home of 28 years, and from the time he answered my first phone inquiry, to our final good byes, Marc was a pleasure to work with. Marc's integrity, honesty, professionalism and kindness were evident throughout the entire sale process. I would recommend Marc to anyone looking to buy or sell a house in the Los Altos and neighboring areas.
