It was a pleasure working width Ita. She went far and beyond what most realtors do as I was unavailable much of the time while the house was for sale. . She was busy marketing the house while I was away recovering from a broken hip. Ita had to do a lot of checking on projects that were in progress and was an excellent communicator keeping me up to date. She was very calm while I was a wreck. After contract, there were things that had to be taken care of and Ita did it!! She is a warm, caring woman whom I would recommend highly to any prospective buyer or seller.

Ita is a true professional. She guided us in the process of selling our house with knowledge and grace. The journey was at times bumpy and emotional. We unfortunately had contact with an agent who was obnoxious , disrespectful and worst of all dishonest. Ita is upfront kind and genuine . She sold our home at almost asking price. We highly recommend Ita as a no nonsense talented business woman. We are not the easiest couple to please , Ita know doubt realized this , yet always was courteous . The lady knows her job. Thank you Ita!

Ita (pronounced EE-tah) is a hustler and works for you! We call her our Rockstar Realtor ;) She provided us with market comparables and pricing prior to listing that allowed us to determine a fair starting price. She knew the hot buyer status, the Woodstock-Saugerties seller’s market, and the house selling atmosphere in the Catskills. When we were ready to list three weeks later, she arranged for professional photos, wrote our description, made sure the house information was current and correct, and hustled to get our home online on Thursday, just in time for Memorial Day weekend foot traffic. She did all this in a week! We had two showings that first day. Overall, despite the rainy weekend, we had 36 showings in 5 days. We declined 6 showings on the last day and she accepted our decision. At the call for Highest and Best offers, we received 10, all at or above asking price. We had priced the house right! She explained how escalation clauses worked and how to proceed. She dealt with a difficult declined-buyer’s broker graciously so we didn’t have to. She worked on our behalf with many realtors and counter offers. Through the closing process, Ita kept us aware of where things were and checked in with us from time to time to see how things were going. When we were out of town moving into our new home, she opened the house for the buyer’s bank appraiser, took him through, and answered his questions on our behalf. She also encouraged us to proactively secure all previous building permit paperwork ahead of the title search and closing. As it turned out, we had two incomplete permit applications from a previous owner and for work we had done that now required a building inspector. This would have been a huge setback at closing had we not dealt with it prior to that final day. Professional demeanor, excellent listener, and a respectful agent, Ita guided us through the process quickly. We closed in seven weeks. She respected our decision to bypass the highest bid and sell the home to who we thought was the right fit. We never felt pressured, but always supported by Ita. She answered our questions, responded to our texts, called us on phone, and met us in person several times. If we had another house to sell in New York, we’d work with Ita again!

Ita McAteer helped us purchase our home in Kingston NY. We couldn't recommend her services more and would absolutely work with her again in the future! Ita went above and beyond to help us place multiple offers on many different homes over almost a year long period of time. She is very knowledgeable and was the guide we needed in such a competitive market. Ita was always exceedingly prompt and professional. We were very pleased when she helped us close the sale on the property we purchased. It is the perfect home for our family and we couldn't have done it without Ita!
