We wish there were ratings higher than 5 out of 5, because that is what we would give Derek and Gina Gilbert. It is scary and hard to pick a real estate agent to sell one of your biggest and most important assets you own....you're home. Well we picked the right team - The Gilbert Group of Compass Realty, Derek and Gina Gilbert. They were a calming and positive influence on us through the entire process. If I had to point out ONLY one of Derek's strengths, it would be his ability to negotiate. He got us 35% above the list price we set by working the bids. Absolutely amazing. Don't think, just hire them. You will be thrilled. Janet and Ira S. P. S. He sold my sister's home also, and exceeded market expectations there too.

We selected Derek as our realtor because he is a top realtor across Colorado and had specific knowledge in selling homes in his home neighborhood of Willow Creek, which was our dream location! In interviewing him to be our realtor, we noticed it was easy to instantly make connections with him and further we loved that he spoke to the fact that he prioritizes learning about what is motivating the sellers in order to build an offer than caters to their needs. Additionally, he has experience flipping homes that helped us see greater potential in homes that we wouldn't have been able to imagine without him! In the most competitive market, in the middle of pandemic, and with historical low inventory in the area we dreamed of being, Derek understood how to craft the type of offer we would need to wisely close on the first offer we put in! He used his knowledge and experience to advise us through the offer process as first-time buyers making an investment that he treated as carefully as he would his own. We greatly appreciated the honesty he brought to the table that always guided us with wisdom and never pressure. We strongly believe that Derek is truly someone buyers and sellers can trust to advocate for their best interests with the other agent when negotiating through the offer and purchase processes. Further, as first-time home buyers, we had more questions than I'm sure realtors have to typically support. Derek was understanding and informative with each question we brought his way. Further, we greatly appreciated how timely his responses always were even when issues arose outside of typical business hours. Lastly, Derek filled the closing process with the education we needed to navigate the new landscape with confidence. Derek effectively partnered with the sellers and title company to ensure that nothing was missed and that our needs were met across a speedy 13 day closing period!

From the very start we were impressed with Yvonne and her entire team at the Gilbert Group. Her knowledge of the Real Estate Market in the Denver area and the best way to market our little "fixer upper" was a perfect fit. In a short time we had the house on the market, viewed and offers galore. This being my first time selling a home, I always found Yvonne was there to answer my myriad of questions, always quick to respond back and patiently clarify each step through out the entire process. After 9 offers that 1st week on the market; she reviewed, evaluated and counseled us as to which ones were the best to consider. There were a couple of bumps along the way on the buyers side but Yvonne was there explaining and advising. Two weeks later we were at the closing. The entire team: Derek, Lacy and Taylor were wonderful too. Thank you!!!!

Yvonne truly went above and beyond in my home purchase. She is extremely knowledgeable of the Denver market. She was very patient with me in my nearly 1 year home search. I highly recommend Yvonne when buying or selling a home.

Yvonne was fantastic to work with on selling our property. She was professional, responsive, and easy to work with during the process. Selling is a somewhat complex thing to do but Yvonne made it easy for us and carefully explained each and every detail that we needed to know without overwhelming us. I'd recommend her to anyone and she'll be our agent of choice in the future.
