Dean is a consummate professional and true expert in real estate and home design. He understood our needs right away, never wasted time on homes that did not meet his/our standards, and guided us through what was important to consider when evaluating homes. He never rushed us and helped us navigate a yearlong search. Dean is an excellent communicator and clearly well-respected by his colleagues which made the negotiation process progress that much more smoothly. If we plan to sell/buy in the future, Dean will be our go-to agent.

Dean is Integrity++. We’ve worked with him on buying or selling 4 properties over the last several years. We would never think of using anyone else - His keen perspective into current buying and selling situations have been spot on. A few local realtors will tell you what you want to hear and then you will be disappointed later. Dean is a straight shooter who has been incredibly accurate on both sides of a real estate transaction. We do not write five star recommendations easily.

Dean has been an invaluable advisor and dedicated partner to help us find and secure our dream home in our dream town. After several years of real estate searching, Dean helped us understand the market, align our priorities, and find the perfect home. We had been looking in Concord, Wellesley, Newton, and Weston. Dean guided us by both explaining and answering our many questions about the 4 towns, as well as by patiently visiting house after house with us for 9 months before we closed on our home. His knowledge of the area is vast because he has lived here for many years and has deep personal ties to the community. Dean came with us to nearly every house we considered and was vital to our evaluation of the property. He helped us examine everything from water pipes to kitchen aesthetics and knew most realtors so well that we usually also had the opportunity to ask deeper questions of the seller's agent. Given Dean's previous experiences in both finance and renovating houses, he is able to advise knowledgeably on all aspects of the home buying process: not only can he evaluate what a house currently is, but he can also help you understand what it could realistically become. Even if he could not attend a showing with us, he would make sure to see the house separately so that he could give his view and debrief with us. During our negotiation processes, his relationships with the seller agents (especially in Weston and Wellesley) made it possible for us to bid competitively. Notably, Dean also ensured we did not overspend. He thought critically about the value of the properties we were looking at and devoted hours to evaluating comps with us, for multiple offer processes. In fact, Dean actually walked us back from overbidding and/or rushing into decisions in more than one instance. Even after we closed on our home, Dean continued to give us excellent advice on our renovations. His suggestions for good people to work with were thoughtful and well considered, and they helped to make our house truly our own. Dean was a committed and patient partner throughout our search. He never once pushed us to go for a property. He always simply answered questions, gave his evaluation, and helped us think about the opportunity and whether it fit our priorities. We highly recommend Dean and are extremely grateful to him for making our real estate dreams possible!
